Happy Thursday! Today just happens to be my husband’s 30th birthday (love you babe!) and boy does it feel weird. Seems like such a milestone and such a grown up number… so glad I have a few more years before I reach that one . Speaking of grown up things, there is nothing that makes me want twin girls except for this room. It is perfectly fit for two adorable (and well behaved, obviously) little girls! Now here is where it gets interesting. I went to the other HomeGoods in town and they had matches for each of these to make a pair! I think I have figured out that I will use a pair of the white in the basement (more to come on that later) but I am wondering if I will use a pair of the blue and white or just one. I would hate missing out on it and I will be able to use it somewhere, right?!

 We are gearing up to start the reno on our first floor in about a month and I have been on the hunt for inspiration for paint colors, moldings and doors. I think it is safe to say that we will be doing white walls (husband is SUPER excited about this ) and black french doors much like the picture above from Lonny. While I would love to have white furniture, the pups just won’t allow that! Favorite picks this week are the heels that Jessica found and the vintage portrait (he looks so important!).

Snowmageddon 2.0 has made it to the KC area and we are in the midst of another snow day. I can’t believe we had another storm so soon after the first. I am not looking forward to shoveling the driveway (again!) but I have rounded up a few of my favorite things that make these snow days worth it!
