 We are gearing up to start the reno on our first floor in about a month and I have been on the hunt for inspiration for paint colors, moldings and doors. I think it is safe to say that we will be doing white walls (husband is SUPER excited about this ;) ) and black french doors much like the picture above from Lonny. While I would love to have white furniture, the pups just won’t allow that! Favorite picks this week are the heels that Jessica found and the vintage portrait (he looks so important!).

Happy Thursday! I am writing to you from a huge snow storm here in KC and the pretty pastels in this room are making me dream of warmer weather!  I am also loving the gallery wall of portraits and I am thinking I might have to duplicate this somewhere in the house! Happy Valentine’s Day! While we didn’t go with a themed room this week, how nice would it be to cuddle up with your loved one in this comfy bed and munch on chocolates all day? Sounds divine!! I am a little late saying it, but happy new year! I can’t believe it is 2013. I still need to take time to sit down and be thankful for all that happened last year (starting my own design business!!) and plan goals for this year. One goal this is to start juicing at home. I buy fresh juice at a little coffee shop close to my house but want to make it more of a daily thing so I can get all of my greens in. So in honor of that goal, Jessica and I have a little bit of green inspiration for you home and wardrobe..enjoy!

I woke up to the first snow of the season in KC this morning so this bright happy room is just what I needed! While most are a fan of the snow, it just honestly isn’t my thing! Seems to make everything such a hassle not to mention it is just downright cold!
